Pawmot Drop Event Guide

April 7th - April 17th

We’re due for a new drop event, and right on time is the new Pawmot drop event! This means single player battles that yield single card promo packs that contain one of several new promo cards! And so we enter Promo Pack A Vol. 26, let’s take a look at those cards!

The star of the show, Pawmot

So this is the chase card for these promo cards. Besides the adorable design, there’s no difference between this and the original card. So there’s no meta benefit for getting this one.

Some of these cards are different from their base forms. Some are interesting such as Floatzel, but one, Bidoof, is debatably substantially worse. 2 energy for 30 damage? Compared to its base card, 2 energy to half the opponent’s HP, this promo card seems like a terrible decision, but gotta catch ‘em all right?

Now let’s break down the odds of getting each card

Card % Chance
Pawmot 12.66%
Machamp 15.82%
Floatzel 23.84%
Ekans 23.84%
Bidoof 23.84%

As usual, there’s 4 difficulty levels, each level has a set chance % of dropping a Promo card pack.

Beginner - 51%

Intermediate - 64%

Advanced - 80%

Expert - 100%

As usual, you’ll need Event Stamina to participate in these battles. This refreshes at a rate of 1 per 12 hours. Any Event Hourglasses accrued during previous events are usable here too. You only consume stamina on completion of the battle. So if you lose or concede, it will not consume stamina.

So now to look at the battles themselves and the potential rewards.
